Easter and Springtime are a great time of year. The birds start tweeting again, the mornings and evenings get lighter, the sun brings warmth and all those cute baby animals come out to play
This year I got organised and reserved several Easter board books and picture books.
1. Peter’s First Easter
Counting fun with Peter Rabbit and his family as we pass through beautifully illustrated pages. There’s also an Easter egg to spot on every page and a surprise at the end for Mopsy.

2. The Dinosaur That Pooped Easter

3. Mr Men & Little Miss: Easter Countdown
A fun counting book with lambs, chicks and eggs.

4. Santa Claus vs The Easter Bunny
A fun story about an Easter bunny getting cross about having to do all his egg deliveries himself whereas Santa gets all that help from the elves and reindeer.

5. Paw Patrol: Pup’s Easter Basket
The Paw Patrol have got to find Chickaletta. Each page has a hidden Easter egg as they race to find her.

6. Why I Love Easter
A board book filled with real quotes from children about why they love Easter. Lovely illustrations accompany their words.

7. Bluey: Easter
Bluey and Bingo are worried that the Easter bunny has forgotten them but when they wake up, they find a series of clues and we follow them around the house on an Easter egg hunt. This goes with the Bluey TV show.

8. I Am Not The Easter Bunny
Colourful pictures and a mix of dinosaurs and Easter make this is a great book for little ones. T-Rex just does not want to be the Easter bunny but the little dinosaurs think otherwise.

9. Easter Sound Book
With hidden eggs on every page, this book also has a button to press to hear some springtime sounds.

10. Spot’s First Easter
My one-year-old loved this lift-the-flap book as Spot searches for the eggs.

11. Toddler Colouring Book – Springtime
A fun colouring book for 2-4 year olds including pages of springtime images such as bunnies, butterflies and flowers.

12. The Sleepy Bunny
In this adorable Easter picture book, Benji is a bunny who is a little different from all the others. But when the bunnies need someone to hide all the Easter eggs, who better for the job than Benji, the sleepy bunny.
