This is a fun activity which uses sparkles, pens, stickers, paint (if you wish!), some card and some string. It’s completely child-led. Just pop the resources on the table and let them design their very own Christmas bauble.

Resources:
- Circles of cut card
- Hole punch
- Pens
- Paints (if you so desire)
- Sparkly gem stickers
- Glue
- Sequins
- String
Method:
- First, cut out the required number of baubles from some card. You can draw round a cup or a candle holder to make perfect circles.
- Use a hole punch to punch a hole in the top of the circle 1/2cm away from the edge.
- Lay out the paints (if using), pens, sequins, glue and stickers on the table and watch your little one design their own bauble.
- Leave to dry and then using a piece of string, loop it through, tie a knot and then get your little one to hang it on the Christmas tree.
Have fun making these!
