A simple Remembrance Day Activity for your toddler or young child.
This would be a great indoor toddler activity at a playgroup or nursery setting for the children to take home to their parents.

- Give your child a plain round biscuit such as a Rich Tea or a Digestive.
- Mix up some red icing using a drop of red food colouring, 2 heaped tablespoons white icing sugar and some cold water. Start off with a teaspoon of water first as you can always add more. Make sure it isn’t too thick – as this will make it hard to spread, and isn’t too runny – as this will make it too messy. If it is too thick, add a drop or two of water. If it’s too runny, add some more icing sugar.
- Using a teaspoon, spoon some red icing onto the biscuit and spread it around a little.
- Get a chocolate button or a chocolate drop and put it in the middle of the biscuit.
- Let it all set and then eat!
