What Themes Can I Teach My Toddler About?

If you’re at home with your toddler and not sure where to start, why not choose one of these themes and base your day or week’s activities around it.

Why Should I Choose A Theme For My Toddler?

Picking a theme can focus your mind on just one set of activities and make it so much easier to plan out what you’ll be doing with your toddler that day or week.

I would suggest using the themes over the course of a week, simply because toddlers have short attention spans and if they aren’t in the mood one day, then at least they can try the activities again the next day or the next. It also means that any activity that they’ve really enjoyed can be repeated, if possible.

What Should I Do If My Theme Isn’t Here?

Themes can be about seasons, animals, feelings, anything at all that a child is going to be interested in. So, if you have an idea but don’t see it here, don’t be put off.
